I like cats, but like dogs better. Especially the bigger ones. My second breed that i would have are Newfoundland.
Here's some of mine and i put covers on the furniture so they can get on.

I was looking in the folder that had all the documents of the boys that have gone and i found this photo of Bracken just after we had him. I remember it was in March and it had been snowing.

Thank you @Gail-Steman yes I'm naughty making them wait for their biscuits. If i walk away out of sight, Barley starts barking to tell me that he wants it.:D

Yes thanks, that's a lovely photo of Bracken, he only took 2 weeks to house train him, he started going to the back door to be taken out into the back garden.:sete_056: Of course i still kept an eye on him just incase he had a accident.:)

Thank you Gail. As well i think that i was getting better at noticing the signs. When we brought him home for the first time, it took hours for him to have a wee, i kept taking him outside. Eventually he did it in the kitchen, but i couldn't be angry with him, he was only 7 weeks old.:smt049

Logan you can't moan at that and Rocky my first staff was similar to Bruno in temperament and a quick learner...I mean I called him Rocky but he would only come to Rock  but he did have a beautiful pedigree behind him loads of reds regarding crufts.:)

Thanks Gail, it's a lot easier when they learn fast.
When we had Moss he was smaller than the others, he was from a litter of 12 pups. I had to take him out for wee's more than the others because of it, it was really a challenge.
Your dogs are beautiful and the Kennel club recommends them for families. There's one up the road and she's such a softie.:sete_056:

@Logan I always think dogs are better from pups in one way as you can train them to how they must behave to your life style.
My Rocky came from the actual syaffordshire regiment breeder and he was the last one there when I arrived but I wanted to see him walk a distance first as he was the last of the litter but was a quick learner came on beautiful and strong and I never regretted purchasing him one bit :)
