Logan I've put all my fish now into the main tank after testing the water again this morning besides removing some and re-topping up and my two gourami's hang around the pump...well when I got all of them out and hubby witnessed two young ones  I thought i'd got all male :smt044
My one fan tailed guppy slowed down a bit in the main tank...removed it back to the small one and it's ok...ste wants the tank for himself

I'll do one tomorrow mate woke late..flued again and hubby and I tested the main tank water to see if it was ok for them besides removing two buckets and refilling. the results wasn't bad.
    Ammonia 0.25
    Nitrite 0.50
    Nitrate 5.0

We saw two small young Gourami's come from by the main pump but not seen them since...they're hiding there somewhere :headscratch:

    Interesting.

I had guppy, molly and patty babies but no gouramis. You need a breeding trap if you have babies Gail otherwise they will become fish food :(

As I say Gail, fish don’t react well to changes in water conditions (shop tank to new tank) as water quality differs. At our local Pets at Home fish are delivered in on a Friday morning and put in quarantine (cannot be sold) for 24 hours, which is not long enough. When you buy fish you have to study them before you buy them - do they have white spot, do they look lifeless, are they dull in colour and hiding etc. Sometimes fish already have problems before you buy them. If I remember rightly Pets at Home refund on dead fish within 7 days so long as you take a water sample for testing and the quality is good. However, in a new tank it probably won’t be.

@Kazzawazza the two that have died I brought from the holly bush cannock and the chap told us...they're shipped in from abroad in crats and we have get them sorted ASAP....so it could be stress related with them but my other guppies have come from a shop more local and they've been great survivors plus my Albino's and shrimps.

@Gail-Steman sorry about your fish,:( it's not your fault. As @Kazzawazza said.
It could be the place that you got them from.

Well done Gail. It is a thrill to see those fish of yours wiggling around...loaches checking out every corner. The selection of male guppies look quite attractive. Did I see zebra tetra's?
You must be pleased with your efforts. The Chinese setting is attractive as well. It looks like you have that arranged just right. It really is nice to look at.

Hi @Sjoerd it wasn't took to good...I need to do it in better colour and with more of a steady hand ;)

I've got 6 male guppies...I've lost two :( 2 gourami's, 4 Endlerguppies (japan blue), 2 Red tip rasbora, 3 albino gold suckers, 2 ghost shrimp and I brought another 2 shrimp don't know the names but they hang backwards by the water filter coming in and take out any algae feeding through but their feet look like sucker pads lol

No Tetra that would be the Endlerguppies as they're have blue.:)

Thank about the décor...it's what i'm in to and just love those designs...I've been emptying out the small tank and cleaning it before dinner to be stored away.

Oh, sorry to hear about the gourami's. I like them. Well, that is to say, I like dwarf gourami's. I find then so lovely and they breed well, if you have some floating plants. They make these lovely bubble nests sort of like Siamese fighting fish. I wonder why your gourami's died.
