The first is sacred datura. It is growing under our rose hedge. I did not plant it. It grows wild around here. I think it is in the same family as Angel Trumpet. It is very toxic.

Now for a few more morning glory pictures. The first two DR took because he could get all the colors at once.

The next one shows our backyard gate. Do you see a gate?

The next one is me standing by the jerusalem artichoke. See how tall it grew.

Oh how I wish Daturas grew wild in my garden. I must try planting up some more seed next year and see if I can get them to live this time.

Morning glories create problems this far south. They take over your house, invade your attic, climb over the trees....and I love 'em. I tried sunflowers last year, but some critter came around and neatly ate the tops off. No footprints and I can't imagine a bird that big, so I don't know what ate them. I love yours. I have a huge bouquet of silk ones (oh horror, not silks!!), in our den. Wish I could grow them again.

I like the morning glories. Would it be possible to have morning glories grow on a trellis?

Yes you can grow them on a trellis.
I've seen those sacred Datura around here growing wild.
