noooooo. we don't need the rain but it honestly never materialized and I worked in the greenhouse all day. I could have used it but I didn't maybe tomorrow. and I am thankful it was warm and not snowing or blizzarding like out west has gotten again this week.

I went to a town wide book club read with a potluck before hand. Great food! I had a little bit of everything! I love small bites of many many foods. There were probably 40 of us (& 40 dishes).
The book discussion was equally interesting & nourishing. I hope our town does this again!

Last night we had grilled cheese sandwiches and a salad.

    Hello Carolyn,
It's actually this - Steak and kidney pie is a savoury pie that is filled principally with a mixture of diced beef, diced kidney, fried onion, and brown gravy. Steak and kidney pie is a representative dish of British cuisine.

Baked pork chops with a dash of cumin... Steamed carrots and sauteed asparagus.

    Perfect!

Left overs!! A seafood stew that is leftover from my bookclub meeting. It's been safely stored in the freezer. Over rice and a salad of microgreens.
