Hi is a bit of a hobby of mine through the warmer months birds flowers anything really i am only a novice and still learning as you will see , Please post any shots have taken in this thread , Here is one i took this evening its my Acer leave just starting to form.
Thank you Eileen its all trial and error for me at the moment, up to early last year i was still using a point and click camera don't get me wrong there more than capable of taking some cracking shots, I now have a DSLR and its taking some getting used to but i am getting there slow but sure, through the summer months i am always out in the garden with the camera for sure they will be more shots to come The last shot is a Berberis darwinii https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Berberis lovely little flowers that look like daffodils macro-ed.
Lovely pictures many thanks for sharing and adding to this thread looking forward to seeing more, I like insects shots but not much about here at the moment, a bee from last year i accidentally nearly drowned him with the hose pipe i put him in a sunny spot to recover from his soaking.
Stunning pics of insects! Now it is obvious how movie makers create their monsters and fantastic creatures. Everything is already here in front of our nose.
Can't get much smaller than this Green Lacewing, one of my favorite shots. Only 3/8 inch, so its pretty small. Lays eggs among aphids for the young to eat, good for gardeners.
Now these are took brilliant mate and the captures give great distinct to the insects...thank god for my electric bat
