This has been a busy year for me because my interests have expanded and so has our household. It is all wonderful and I have been learning more about myself and exploring new paradigms. In February and July I attended 7 day retreats put on by Dr. Joe Dispenza. Both were wonderful. Lots of meditation, dancing and growing by the moment. Here are photos of one of two the physical challenges and my team from around the world. 8B72D119-C8E8-43AE-8EF4-C4E0AC8A9E76.jpeg

Hubby and I spent a weekend in Portland Oregon for a talk on the “cattle corrals” in South Africa by Michael Tellinger. While there we had to see the Japanese Gardens. It was so lovely that I didn’t take many photos. It was such a beautiful day to stroll the gardens and sip tea at the tea house.

Getting rid of stuff has been another fun endeavor. As we are combining households this has been a summer of getting rid, storing and rearranging. We live in an old part of town where it is common to set things on the curb for others to use. Things disappear within minutes to hours. I also got rid of probably 50 houseplants...no one could tell... Chairs, rugs, coffee tables, assorted odds and ends and this monster also found new homes. This was the most interesting since the gentleman taking it had the smallest car ever. Even though it was in two parts with how to put it together the top had to further dismantle for him to get home. IKEA furniture is amazing.

We also had my husband’s smoke shack reroofed and turned into a meditation and girls retreat. Construction always stresses me out. Having it rain with the roof off and no covering on top was not cool. It turned out well and is a pleasant place for me to escape to for a quiet hour.

Then we got another new member to the household. Shadow Dani is acclimating well to this crazy household.

Hope your summer has been all that you want it to be.

Wow Jewell. You have been changing a few things there, haven't you. It looks like quite a bit of physical activity and some thought adjustments. You sound really content. Getting rid of stuff is also an uplifting experience...except when the articles have personal historical meaning...that can be difficult...REALLY difficult.
Stay happy and continue showing your interesting foto's.
BTW--was it difficult for your man to give up his smoking shack?

Sjoerd, I’ve had incredible opportunities the last few years. Getting rid of stuff is good, but most things were just redistributed within the household. Wish I was better at getting rid of stuff.

CM, the round bum in the tree is me. I am fearless and as weird as ever. Maybe even more so as I traipse through life.

    Having gratitude and fun :like:
