    i know this isn't the end of the world, its just another sucky thing.

    Of course they were all bad, most were worse than the current threat. None of them, as bad as they were, invoked the panic that this lesser threat has caused.

    Nature isn't trying to kill you. Nature doesn't care about you one way or the other. If you don't make it, she'll simply keep creating things to replace you.

    right, and there's nothing to fear but fear itself, and there is a lot of fear going around, so be afraid!
    the virus is one thing, but the government and masses reacting the way they are might be far more damaging.

    My fairly light-hearted post was intended to ease the stress and perhaps fear some people might be feeling. Unfortunately, the discussion has deteriorated and is neither informative nor comforting. I'll ask Frank to close this topic, with my sincere apology for opening it in the first place.
