Sunday we had roasted lamb with mint sauce, potatoes, cabbage, peas, sprouts, cauliflower, roasted parsnips and gravy.

Pudding I made a chocolate triffle, that's just chocolate swiss roll and chocolate blancmange with a triple chocolate Ice cream.

First thing, I popped the frozen chook thighs into the meekro wah-vay for a gentle defrost so I could sous them into little chunks. Then I assembled the lemon grass, frozen rice, sultana’s and other components on the side board. Them made some salads for us as the Bride assembled and prepared the meal.
Massamann curry. It was delicious and creamy, albeit quite spicy. Not too hot, a bit cheeky, and it asked for one’s attention.

We are having some very mixed weather here in the Deux Sevres regions of France..-2 was a chill factor the other evening and we are going from that to 17 degrees...the seeds are not happy though. @ Odif

Dinner tonight is the Pizza I posted up in the Pizza Pictures Only Thread..Side Salad goes with it very well as balances out the fat.....

It reminds me of my old travelling days when we would sit In narrow, dusty and rickety old busses straining up mountains and careening down them for hours, sometimes days at a go. Eating just like that. Ahhh, them were thuh days.
    Bon appétit.

Oo, Loggs, I like the sound of that! We eat a lot like that when we get home from a long day at the lottie. It sounds quick and tasty. It does the job.

We use to do a lot of travelling and not necessarily with our Touring Caravan as we had a Volvo Estate that we actually bedded down in, just for the odd night with a Sleeping Bag even during the Winter normally France of Spain ..Always carried a two burner/grill cooker and enough equipment to rustle up a meal...Home certainly was where we laided our heads..great times... Even out for the day is a good holiday away from the routine...and you have made me Hungary..

Last night’s dinner was vegetable soup and steamed bok choy with a garlic and ginger sauce with dinky little meatballs. Tonight not sure yet.

Well it was a 1st Attempt at the French Apple Tart and took a photo before we had a portion each. Actually was the best pudding I have made...was not so easy as I thought....purely because of the different stages required...Will be much easier the next time..and neater...
