Thanks for those vids Loggie. A couple of them had things that we do and reasonings that we use. I liked them.
I've started lots of roses using hardwood cuttings. Last winter I started some more. I just cut prunings about a foot long, pencil thick, and stuck them about 6 inches deep into a vegetable raised bed as row markers. They all too root and grew very nicely.
That's great Daniel W I'm doing them for the first time in different mediums and they seem to do well as you said. The roses that I cut them from are Hybrid Tea and always grafted on root stock so I haven't bothered before. Thought that I try and save some money but where I'll put them i don't know.
Yes I'm always growing things and don't know where to put them. This year I grew some lupins from seed and I re potted them because there's nowhere to put them. But I think the older ones in the garden have been had by the lupin greenfly and killed them off.have to wait and see.
Logan I have that problem too. Last summer I finally sat some by the curb with a "Free Plants" sign. Somebody grabbed them.
