With our birds hiding from us, we have resorted to bait and shoot. We bait with suet, Bait.jpg
and then shoot with the camera. and Shoot.jpg
So far it has worked out well for the birds, and for us!

24\7 with her! She uses black oil sinflower seeds, high energy suet and wild bird seed mix mostly! She is not above tossing bread and old veggies out! She has no shame! And Corn! Lots and Lots of Corn! And 12% sweet feed! Because they cannot be spoiled enough!

@marlingardener is that a chickadee? I don't know birds very well. That's the best photo so far for 2022:setf_016:

Daniel, that is a White Crowned sparrow, and we have quite a few. They are omnivores--seeds, insects, anything they can get their little beaks around
    Glad you like the photo!

It should have sensitivity settings. Look for the yeti icon.

And that is why I hate a place that has a lot of frogs. Like mice bring the Fox, frogs bring snakes.

Only got 3 snakes over here, only one of those is poisonous. Probably only seen 5 of those in my life.

Panthers have eaten most of them :D

So... You do not have Cougars? I apologize then, since I did not realize @Tetters was actually a Panther. That must make your life so much more interesting!

Tetters sees off rats. There's a place for all animals, but I don't favour rats!
