You’ve got to keep her in shape. We are all waiting for her emergence on the international stage. Fingers crossed for you guys.

Good Friday morning all. It's a chilly -18°C and clear. Been for a dog walk, now I'm having a cup of coffee.
Thought I would track my seed order, as it was shipped and I don't want it sitting in my mailbox in these cold temperatures.
Checked yesterday to see my order approaching ... left Seymour MO on the 29th, Chicago IL on the 31st-2nd, then onwards towards Canada. It cleared Canadian customs on the 4th, and on the 5th it was in Orlando FL! WHAT?? That's over 2000 KM in the opposite direction!!! At least they are somewhere warm! :smt005
Have a great day all :)

We had groceries delivered. Too difficult to be cautious in the store now, due to medications that have immune side effects. Normally I do fine but gotta wait for things to calm down now. Delivery was excellent! Now settled for a few weeks, along with preserved and stored foods.

Good Saturday morning all. Currently -22°C and sunny. It was a chilly, and short dog walk this morning. We will go out again later when it warms up a bit.
I haven't really made any plans for today except to take down our Christmas tree. I had left it up to keep us in the spirit of Christmas until we had our family dinner today.
But the Ontario government had different plans, putting the province in a partial lockdown and making the limit for indoor gatherings just 5 people. I'm not sure when Ontario turned into a dictatorship, but it seems that is what has happened. Don't get me started!
Have a great day all :)

It is drizzly today so I'm doing laundry, light cleaning, and trying to think of something that needs baking!

How about baking some Scottish short bread. I’ll take the next stagecoach to TX.

Good Sunday morning all. Currently 0°C and overcast. It was a much nicer walk this morning and I only had to wear one layer.
We got all the christmas stuff put away yesterday. Sad that we never got to have our family dinner again, hoping for better luck next year.
Today I will get the skating area shovelled off before the snow starts. We are to get a decent dumping of snow in the next few days.
Spring clean out will begin too, we have lots of rooms that need a good purge.
Have a great day all :)

Netty, have you ever heard of Christmas in July? It is a great way to have Christmas without the travel hassle (have you see the recent lines at airports? And the traffic, oh my!), and turkey on the grill is just as good as turkey in the oven. Hopefully you can have your family dinner in July.

Good Monday morning all. Currently a chilly -11°C with a wind chill of -22°C. It was a very short dog walk this morning!
The weather is going to be nasty today, so its going to be an inside kind of day. Theres plenty of cleaning to do, I just don't know if I feel like doing that today!
I'll have a coffee and see if I can raise my level of ambition, which is currently at 0.
Have a great day all :)

Say Netty, is there some sort of figure skating tournament going on in Nashville at the moment?

Yes Sjoerd, the US Figure Skating Championships are on right now, as well as the Canadian National Figure Skating Championships here in Ontario. Both Countries are determining their Olympic skating teams!
Good Tuesday morning all. Currently -29°C and sunny. It was a COLD dog walk today, and Sargent seemed extra feisty. Now back home having a hot cup of coffee and Sargent is laying by the woodstove. I think we'll stay inside until it warms up a little, even though the sunshine is wonderful.
I've got some inside project to finish up.
Have a great day all :)

We're starting our Wednesday with five severe weather warnings. One yellow, one orange and three red. Wind, landslides, flooding, rain and avalanches. Repeat on Thursday, and then a breather during the week-end. The only ones missing are thunderstorms, high tide, and forest fires. I don't think we'll see the last one. The two others might show up after the week-end when the next weather system might hit us.

This is a very good day to do a puzzle, maybe knit a bit, and make certain all power banks are charged in case of a power-cut. Life on the Norwegian coast can be challenging at times.

I sincerely hope the rest of you are having a better day than me.

Oh my gosh Droopy, stay safe!
Good Wednesday morning all. Currently -1°C and overcast. A much better dog walk this morning, we went the entire 2km today for the first time in days!
My Baker Creek seed order is back from its holiday in Florida, arriving yesterday. I'm waiting for one more seed order from Heritage Harvest seeds to arrive and then one more order for Stokes seeds to be placed and I'll be ready for the season. After all, spring starts in 66 days!
Have a great day all :)

Droopy, stay in, stay safe, and knit a lot (busy hands make a happy heart)!
I went to the grocery this morning and stocked up on everything I needed except fettucine. The pasta section was bare except for a few bags of elbow macaroni. Please tell me the "supply chain" didn't break while delivering pasta:crying:.
It's pretty chilly today (for us) so we are having frittata for lunch, and a Cajun chicken dish for dinner.

It sounds awful. We can have challenging weather sometimes, but you have us beaten hands down. You mind how you go up there, don’ t make me come ip there and twist your ear for taking unnecessary chances.
