    Good luck tomorrow, Logan!

Today has been a very trying day, and I'm now going to do nothing for the rest of it. Our California girl had to take her pre-flight Covid-test this morning. She was OK so we drove her straight to the airport. The wind had started to pick up but we counted on the pilots to take off safely. They're used to a lot of weather. The flight was so delayed she had to run through the next airport and only just managed to get to the gate and board her next flight before it closed. Now she's on her way to the third airport but I don't know if they managed to get her bags on the same flight. She'll find out when she lands at home tomorrow. The layover is 12 hours. At least she won't have to run then.

We have a lot of wind outside, but we won't feel it much since it has turned and coming in from the north-west now. The south-west storms are the worst for us. I'm just hoping it won't be as bad as they think it might be. I'm also hoping for no power-breaks.

    Played golf this morning.
After lunch watched on TV, the highlights of three NFL"wild card" games.
Since then have been watching my recordings of the Australian Open Tennis, presently Barty v Tsurenko, with the sound muted, (it'll be a short match), can't stand commentators when they state the obvious.
Presently listening at the same time, to my LP of Frank Sinatra's, "In the Wee Small Hours."

Thank you Tetters and everyone else and yes it went well, today took the clear patch off so now I can use my reading glasses.
It does feel different from the other one but they said that. Also like the other I get flickering when the lights are on in the evening but they should go. Can't do any bending or gardening for 4 weeks so that's a difficult time but I can look forward to sowing some seeds then, if hubby can get any compost, it could be frozen because of the weather.

Ps no housework for a few weeks.:smt041

If surgery and stuff like that which slows us down a bit HAS to be done Logan, it is best to do it at this time of year. You will be raring to go by the time spring gets here proper.
Feet up and get pampered.....can't be bad ;)

Thanks Tetters and yes that's why I chose it this time of year.
Hubby is very helpful in doing things for me and tells me off if I try to do anything.
    :)

That's great Logan. Now is the time.

I just spent 2 days in a zoom meditation retreat. I know you all will think I'm crazy but I enjoyed it. That is, enjoyed it after I got passed the initial restlessness.
