It is wonderful to see a different colour than white and yellow. Angus and I took a wee walk today to inspect the changes. It is not full yet, but it's coming.:)

What a nice spread you folks have there. I especially liked seeing the foto’s that had bits of gardening in them. It is all so nicely arranged…and coming along very well. That rock-lined plot looks especially romantic. I guess that you had to carefully make choices of what to put in there.
    Chapeau.

I would love to have the amount of space you have Melody. It looks so tranquil and a wonderful place to plant up gardens.

@Sjoerd - thank you. :) The rock garden is my only full sun flower garden. It has a dwarf lilac, spurge, perennial geraniums, peonies, roses, forget me nots, snow ball hydrangea's, pin cushion flowers, an ornamental cherry, sedum and many others I can't recall right now.

It is also the Memory Garden. It began with a beloved Pup, and has grown with other fur babies and family needing a place to call forever home. I like the description of romantic, as it truly is full of good memories, and a joy to care for. I hope to take photos as it develops. I lost many of my garden and home photos last year, so I'm pretty much starting over.

Hubby and I enjoy the bench in front of it.

Thank you Eileen. We are very fortunate. Hubby bought this as a 21 year old with plans for a cabin. Over time he built our home and all of it's outbuildings. That was 42 years ago, and it is still a work in progress, but we do love it here. There is 86 acres, but most of it is wild. We use about 10.

Good plant choices. I am going to be looking out for development foto’s as the season rolls on.
