Birds around here haven't been acting normal. We had a house sparrow come to the hummingbird feeder and dip its beak!
Sorry for the blur, but you can tell this is NOT a hummingbird!

Yup, things are getting weirder and weirder. We've got birds we usually only see in winter visiting the feeder we've still got out because we have few insects again this year. The starlings down the road come over to grab the stray cat's food. We've had a seagull coming to beg for food all winter and well into spring. It shouldn't be here. It should find food down by the sea, poor thing. I finally feel I'm beginning to fit in too.

They're currently sat on the roof above us, sounds like they have a hammer and chisel up there and they're carving a couple of stone tablets

At least they're not tap-dancing like our magpies and the seagull. Maybe they're making new laws since the old ones are mos-ses-oned? Ok, I'll see myself out.

We have seagulls around here all the time and we're not at all by the sea.
Have a black bird going in the hedgehog feeding station to eat the dried dog food, well it keeps it away from my blueberries, at the moment.
