Not yet because I'm working on giving them their proper home. They are still small. One is nameless but the other ones are a Mammilaria, an Astrophytum and a Gymnacalycium. I'm especially pleased with finding the Astrophytum. They're hard to find in the flower shops or nurseries around here.

Be good to have a look at them when you're ready I've only got 2 Astrophytums, one I bought and the other I grew from seed.

As you wish. The one to the right is the nameless one. It's pretty, so I brought it home anyway.

They're living outside since the temps are nice and to give any pests a chance to show themselves before I put them in the window sill.

I guess I'll have to repot the three-in-one in a not too distant future, but I couldn't find the bigger bowl I know I have somewhere.

Your cactus blooms are lovely! I don't think I'll ever get any blooms on mine, but they're nice as they are.

It also looks like you have 3 flower buds on the Gymnocalycium, they need heat to open.

Oh my goodness the size of the blooms! An Echinopsis, eh? Thanks for the name. I'll write it down (and probably forget where I put the tag, lol).

How much heat do they need? And for how long?

Just a sunny window will do as long as there's not a draft on them. The sun makes them open about lunchtime then they shut again till the next day.

Echinopsis flowers will only open for about 6 hours before they flump though :(

I think I can see a flower bud on your Mammillaria too :)

Thank you! OK then, I'll bring them inside and hope for some sun. I don't live where I live because of the weather you see. Our big front windows can't open so no draft there. And I need to get my magnifying glass out and check those cacti because I can't see anything resembling a bud on that Mammillaria. I had one when I was a child, and that bloomed for me several times. They are lovely even if they don't last long.

Will a growing light do the job on days without sun?

I inherited a cactus from my grandmother. Big, tall thing with long, dark thorns. It bloomed in the evening and had the loveliest fragrance. The next morning the bloom was done. Unfortunately I lost it due to those pesky woolly pests. It got infested while we were away for three weeks and I couldn't save it even though I tried.

Aah, I might be wrong about the Mammillaria then, I blew the page up and it went fuzzy :D

    Growlight will help.

Aww, meallybugs are a nightmare :(
