This series of foto’s of yours are top drawer, Loggie. The wildflowers are really well-photographed, and I find them lovely. What a good idea you have here.
Yes they're lovely, i have the corn marigold and corn chamomile in pots. But going to have some in the garden next year and thanks Eileen.
Thank you Sjoerd, i can't take credit for the photographing i copied them from a website. The yellow rattle is a parasite for grass, it stops the grass from growing and then put more wildflowers in the grass.
Thank you Sjoerd, yes the foxgloves are special, i get them coming up in my garden all over the place. Here's some more Wild Teasal I did grow it once, it's a biennial and enormous. Sea Campion Field Forget me not native Meadow Cranesbill wild bellflower Xerophyllum Bear Grass Wild Musk Mallow The file is Toadflax
More lovely examples. I like Teasel. It has such a unique bloom head. They make nice dried arrangements also. It is interesting to see that we have most of the same wildflowers. It is such a pity that so many of our meadows have disappeared over the years.
@Logan those are beautiful pictures. Its amazing that wildflowers are considered weeds. The Sea Campion, Salad Burnett, Foxglove are my favorite. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you Sjoerd and yes it's a shame, I don't think that hubby would let me grow the greater knapweed because it's a thistle and it could spread.
Yes they are lovely and glad that you liked them. I haven't seen the Sea Campion and the Salad Burnett before.
Beautiful Logan! I recognized some of them & have seen some of them growing in our fields. So pretty.
Thank you and that's great that you can see them, haven't got any fields around here with them at all.
