What smells good November 2022?

    The tea olives here are scenting. The scent always strikes my olfactory like a sledgehammer. My reptile brain immediately thinks Sophia Lauren is nearby, but in the next microseconds I float dejectedly back to earth. I planted them on all four corners of the property so no matter which way the wind blows, the house benefits.

    Nothing ….the pollen from the cones on the trees have my nose totally non functioning . Everything is covered in yellow…pollen…

    Eleagnus ebbingei is sending out a beautiful scent all over the site. The flowers are small and quite insignificant but the perfume will linger right through Christmas - lovely!

    It is the silverberry that is setting off the olfactory. :)

    I look at these things as a positive for an aging male. We lose our hearing in certain frequencies too, which also adds to household bliss.:sleeping:
