This is really beautiful L :smt114

I was hoping someone would do this. I will post mine soon. We haven't done our tree yet, but Hubby needs an "easing into" the season. I pulled out my Santas yesterday...tomorrow the snow globes. Hopefully we will cut the tree soon and bring it in.

Really lovely L. You gave me the Christmas bug. ( ...those penguins......Oh MY! )

Thank you Melody, hubby used to not like a lot of decorations around, but these past few years he's changed.
I used to wait for the last week before the big day.

In the conservatory started off just putting things under the tree, I used to get a lot of free figures from the catalogues but they've stopped it, then on the other side and it just spread but I'm not allowed to put things over the fireplace because of safety.

    Very nice!
Our house doesn't get much. The porch light is programmable LED - white most of the time, changing colors now. It's nice to see what others do.

Thank you Daniel, we have the lights on a timer with Alexa smart speakers.
Everybody has their own way of doing it.

Lights are fun. I have one long string of blue LEDs on the rail of the deck, with a timer to come on for a couple of hours.

We have something in our community called "Share Sheds". They are at every landfill site. If someone wishes to dispose of something that may be of use to someone, it goes in the share shed. They are open and free.

I was so excited to find Christmas lights in our share shed last month. One is particular is a kaleidoscope led projection light show. Pretty fancy shmancy. Not something I would every purchase - but I have been oogling them. :) I put it in a bucket of snow on the porch and have it aimed at the large evergreens out the living room window. They are covered in snow, so the kaleidoscope does it's pretty light show for a couple of hours into the woods at night.

We enjoy it - it's like watching TV hahaha. I don't know what the forest animals think - they are the only ones who also get to enjoy it.

There was also a set of large dancing coloured icicle lights. They were a little too "disco" for us - Hubby has never had a siezure but thought he was going to possibly start to from watching them. They were meant for someone who puts lights up for others to view I think - not right outside their window. They went back to the share shed for someone else's Christmas. They were pretty jazzy though :)

I have a thing for Santa's and snowglobes L. :) This is my little Christmas love going on in the living room. I used to have wall hangings etc. all over the house when the kids were wee and at home. Now it's just some of my favourites.

I don't have your talent for the beautiful displays. But I do think we may share the same Santa?? :) Can you spot him ?

This is my favourite Santa - a gift from my daughter many years ago. Once the tree is up he will stand gaurd at the tree.
