I have a 2 year old cherry plant (2 metre tall), its leaves all turn yellow:
    Any possible causes?
I searched due to lack of water or sulphur?

I have another cherry plant with similar age/height, it seems normal though.

    Here's my pot size:
    Top: 45cm
    Bottom: 26cm
    Height: 33cm
    Volume: 33 litres (~8.7 gallon)

I have transplanted them from a 30cm diameter pot a week ago.

Are you in the northern hemisphere? This doesn’t look like normal autumn yellowing. Did you have a sudden cold snap

I live in southern hemisphere, late summer now.
    I am thinking of this:
I pruned it last weekend. I cut few branches to about 6 inches from the main stem.

Cherry yellows is a viral disease that also causes tart cherries to drop their leaves. This classic, leaf-yellowing disease is from the prune virus where I live. Defoliation often occurs in waves throughout the season. It’s a pain.

    This is the updated photo.
The one now has all leaves brown and dropped most of it.
    Will it go to dormancy?
The healthy one sits next to it looks fine.

Rightly or wrongly, my thoughts on this go to phytophthora being a possible problem here. This starts as a soil borne pathogen which travels through the roots and continues up inside the inner bark until it slowly kills the entire plant.
I would like to add @Outgoing that it would be a real help to the rest of us if you could update your profile to allow us to see just where on the globe you are situated.

I'm unable to upload any of my own photos at the moment, because my old laptop died on me, but I found this example for you to see online. This shows phytophthora damage.
It happened to some of the shrubs a while back on my land in the UK.

@Outgoing Many years ago, when I was a £10 pommie, we went to live northshore in Terry Hills. Then we bought a block near Windsor in Oakville. My kids are in Tas and Queensland - all of them. I loved spending time around the harbour in Sydney and Taronga Zoo. The opera house wasn't even finished then - it took a jolly long time to build!!
