Ohhhhhhh. Those cut leaves must have been cut when the sellers put them in to rest before forcing them into development. New leaves will begin creeping up where the flower stems are. Sorry for jumping to conclusions, mate.
No worries friend. Thanks for letting me know that the leaves will come - it's probably the most fussed/worried over Amaryllis in Canada right now. I'll be excited to see the leaves.
