Been building a new Cactus house

    Rebutia minuscula :)

    This one produces lots of seed but looking in the shop I've only got 2 for sale so it looks like they don't have a very good survival rate.

    I think I've seen Cousin It before :D

    Yep, he's a Mammillaria, the spines look like bocasana, and the clumping habit is very similar. Just the shape that's throwing me off a bit. I've seen Mammillaria hahniana, multi headed form looking like that but they don't have the hooked spines so I might stick with bocasana.

    Here's one I've got in flower at the moment...

    If those are the seeds I might be able to start a Cousin it family . Why not? Someone has to take care of the ugly cacti. :D

    You will be able to, there's about 30 seeds in each pod :) I got Tetters to pot up dozens of them :D

    thay is so cool, I have a few cacti, one i actually grew from seed and I have no idea HOW it's still alive but it's so cool to see well taken care of cacti that bloom and seed! 30 seeds to a pod though!! wow!

    One cacti I have had about 2,000 seeds. They all germinated :eek:
