it's supposed to rain off and on all week. and we are supposed to get thunderstorms friday and satuday but at least it will be warm. atm it is 63F/17C
Agree, getting really desperate now. Our 6 water butts and 2 Suse containers are completely dry. We're now running our washing up water through strainers ( not that there is much waste as we always clean plates etc off well) to use on the borders. All the young plants grown from seed are going to find it tough going when they eventually get planted out. I'm going to delay planting anything out for as long as possible....borders and tubs.

It's been cloudy all the time until 1pm when the sun finally broke through, now it's sunny intervals and a gentle cool breeze from the north east temp 18c feels like 17c
Summer weather has arrived, although, for us, two months later than usual !! Don't get me wrong, I'm thankful that it has stayed cool for this long !! 69°f low and 93°f for the high.
Cool all week . Temps day in the F60’s , night high F40’s. It’s the misty maritime weather in May and overcast all week. Just perfect to keep the flower turgidity of the Rhody’s and azalea’s to last for a longer period before they turn and look like dirty dish rags hanging off the shrubs.
