The newly planted tuttetuin: One of my very favourite flowers, the Daisy. They are just beginning here. The Veronica spikes are beginning to show colour now. They seem a bit thicker and longer than they usually are: Then…well, it is not yet blooming but the Dipsacus is attractive if it is budding, blooming or dried. I think the English word is “Teasel” or perhaps, “Teezel”
Beautiful @Sjoerd and it will looking even more stunning when the border establishes and fills out. Daisies really stand out and almost seem to sparkle, and your Veronicas looks really tall and will produce quite a display. Brilliant
kale is easy to grow in 5b. I sowed this ones seed about 6 years ago and I harvest from it every year. It's finally seeded for me. I'm tickled because it's walking stick kale. A gardentags friend from Scotland told the story of how walking stick kale saved the Scottish economy in jersey, during a depressed time in the country's history. The tall stalks of the plant are dried for a season r two and then are strong enough to be used as walking sticks. These were sold to tourists and helped bring the country folks out of poverty. I'm just growing it for fun. It's a very heavy kale. Maybe not the easiest to digest, but great in soups. The beginner pond now houses Jack and Diane, a couple of goldfish. I finally have started looking into an actual natural pond. Just going to see if it's even OK to dream about.

Oh the anticipation! I've been trying for years to get a poppy that my mom used to have in her garden. She is gone many years and so are they. I have attempted and failed many times. The closest seed I found to hers is called Sissinghurst Poppy. A tall white beauty that I sowed last winter. I also sowed another variety just for the seed heads, so im crossing my fingers. Could this finally be it? I'm just going to hold my breath until it opens

Oreti— looking again at your namesake blooms— they are truly stunning. The Hypericum plantings really do add a lot to your plots. We see a lot of those over here. They look so good. I have a cousin of your type in my garden.
Beautiful garden flowers and lovely combos from everyone. Things are really starting to fill out in all the gardens while spreading so much joy and cheer. Adore all the plants and flowers shared . This is the season we have been waiting for to celebrate all the hard work that goes into all the captivating displays shared.
The overwintered mini dahlias started blooming. There are also some veggies and other potted plants on the patio. They seem to do better there. I planted this Crinum about 13 years ago. Most of the time it was overshadowed and outcompeted by some giant shrubs. They are done now. It perked up a lot!
