Tortellini stuffed with chicken and cheese with garlic parmesan sauce. With salad -chopped mozzarella in small squares , chopped toms, onions, with cilantro, creamed avacado , vinegar & olive oil dressing.
Schnitzel, those red spuds I showed a couple of days ago and a veggie mix of paprika, courgette and bean sorts.
We had an experimental dish tonight— mie noodles with paprika's, onions, four types of beans, courgettes with bratwurst chips, and the whole wok business cooked in a thing called, “Five Spices Sauce” The beans before cutting: The finished thing: I was well chuffed with the result.
So you should be well chuffed @Sjoerd that looks so delicious. Your choice of food/ meals are so like ours. Today we had Lasagne with with peas , sweetcorn and fresh beans and courgettes.
Another £26 half-leg of lamb from M&S, with new potatoes. It does us two days, so isn't that expensive. M&S meat selection is just a fraction of what it once was. Over-emphasis on cheaper ready-meals. There isn't a "stand alone," butcher's shop locally.
Oreti— righty-ho. I noticed that. It is summertime, the meals have to be simple and quick to fix. It is just that there has to be a salad with whatever main course we come up with. Tonight I feel a junk food feast coming on. Riley— gôh…M&S. I haven’t thought of them for ages. I used to know a bloke that was a manager. His in-laws were friends of ours. I think they have passed away now, but the manager and his wife are still going strong, I believe.
Agree @Sjoerd we have to have our daily salad too, we're having a salad tonight for supper. We eat salad throughout the Winter too, obviously not quite so nice as we don't get to enjoy fresh crops.....but still good.
Spill the beans @Sjoerd ( if you had any that is) what did you order last night for supper. I love hearing of your menu and seeing your meals.......don't let me down now.
