Just bought a new build and want to change out the front door lock as I’ve always been told I should when buying a house.
Looking for good build quality and reliability smart door lock for home. If there is any smart lock recommendations would love to hear those as well.
    Would appreciate any suggestions!

If it's a new build, it's probably got doors with the cheapest lock they can find.
The locks on these new doors are easily removed and replaced. There's all sort of locks you can buy which will be a straight replacement.
I replace ours with one which, "double locks" you seem to be turning the key for ever, before it will come out.

When I bought this house I got new doors and new locks. I got the Schlage dead bolt and I specifically wanted the lever handle because when you come in the house when your hands are full all you have to do is push down on the lever with your elbow and the door will open for you. No need to put your burden down and turn a knob. :D

PS Excuse the dirt. I garden !!
