These are growing in my shady front "used-to-be-a" grassy area (now the soil is so poor, grass won't grow well). I can't bring myself to cut them, they're so unique looking! I'll replant all of them together in another area, but want to know their name. Thanks!

I don't know the name of it but it's just a weed that grows in very poor soil. Nothing really worth keeping, IMHO but if you like it that's another story. If you move them they probably won't survive, especially if you don't move them to very similar growing conditions and do not move them without disturbing the root ball.

Why did you respond? You had nothing useful to add except your "humble opinion" of its lack of worth...

There was no need for a rude reply. It IS a weed, that is just a fact, AND I gave you advice on how to move it so that it would survive and so that you could continue to enjoy it.

I agree, that response was unnecessarily rough.
