Hunt And Peck Continues

I had to tighten-up security on the outside test toms.


The Moonlight apples have peck-holes.


Time to mummy-wrap tree.


The other tree had even more ruined apples:


And now the ghostly security measures become a bizarre spectacle:


When we picked up our donation for the food Bank this morning, one of the footpaths were strewn with merel (blackbird) feathers. One less picker, although I do like them.

 

Perhaps a could of cats would help ?

Well, I am sure those tjiff-tjaffs have their place in Nature, but I cannot have this unbridled wast of my crops. The nets seem the best option. BTW, there is a feral cat that patrols the lotties. Hah !! I meant a "Clowder of cats". like a herd of horses only cats !!
