I was at the supermarket on our monthly run to restock our chicken supply when I came across a very intriguing-looking vegetable. It's the first time I've ever seen anything like it.

Does anyone know what it is and if it's good to eat?

It might be that new cross between broccoli and kale. Atlantis Brokali it's called.

Now that it's out of the container and I see it clearly, I must say: it doesn't look very appetizing to me !! o_O

A member of the gardening group in my town mentioned that it's delicious when eaten as a salad. I plan to pick up a packet on my next visit, which will most likely be next month, to try it myself.
