I’m a bit late to the party today , as internet connection on this garden site had a bug. Couldn’t seem to get on the site . Seems the bug has been eliminated … maybe a good web spray did the trick
@Sjoerd thank you for your nice comment on my garden flower post.
Luv your rudbeckias almost reminds me of Gloriosa daisy’s called Rudbeckia hirta I grew from seed a while ago. They are very similar. Very hardy flower this time of year really bright and sunny topped off with a honey bee. Nice catch.. :smt023
@Anniekay :sete_013:Your orchid bush blooms are beautiful. What a show stopper:smt038 . Never seen that plant before , very beautiful. So different and the flowers do really look just like orchids and looks like it has a long way to continue to bloom, very interesting. :smt023

Another flower with color variations similar to your orchid flower reminds me of the stained window or painted tongue flower .
Called Salpiglossis sinuata. See pics on site below

Thanks guys !! I can't grow the Painted Tongue flowers ( Salpiglossis) here, too hot. I found this shrub two years ago on line and the soil and growing conditions fit perfectly for a raised area in my yard. They like it warm, very free draining soil and short winters. So far I'm quite pleased with it.

The first Cosmea. Not as good as Loggie, but still. I pruned them in may, and they branched nicely.

It is tricky sometimes but usually out in the garden early you can see a few bees worthy of sitting still posing long enough for a quick pic.

Ahhh, see, I've been staying up too late, the last few weeks, to be getting up early. :(

No problem sooner or later you’ll snag a bee pic. Thruout the day just have to be aware if bees nearby.

I’m not getting the page for face expressions.like that get up early facial expression on your above post.. I’m still having issues with posting on this site.
But if I could upload a character of a face expression it would be a bee with sun glasses on. lol.
