Still keeping Tetters busy with the freezers

We have enough frozen beans now so I'm letting the rest pod up on the vines for harvesting as dried beans later in the year, and of course for next year's seeds.

Today I've sown Japanese Onion seeds for an overwintering crop, as well as some spring onion seeds to help fill the hungry gap:)

Zigs—A delightful harvest to see. The onions look fantastic.

Very decent-looking harvest today. The demand for courgettes here is also diminishing.

Zigs— no, we like’m young, and the folks at the Food Bank won’t take them if they are too large. Pity though.
Do you usually let them go that far?

Not usually, but they might be a good standby if it turns into a winter of discontent.

Things are not always on the shelves in shops these days. Pays to keep something in reserve. I've been potting up stray potatoes that I've found in the compost while sieving. They'll only get to new potato size at this time of year but they'll be something to eat.

A Hedgehog has eaten nearly all of the corn I grew for the birds

    Ta Sjoerd :)

Good Blackberries Logan :) Ours are all moldy this year, drought and then too much rain at once.

    Not much today...

Thank you Zigs, we haven't had a lot of rain to spoil mine this year.

Lovely tomatoes and carrots of yours.
