    Pretty piccies @Pacnorwest !!

What kind of plant is that spider hanging from? He really blends in and looks to be close to a whiteish translucenty color.

Thank you Sjoerd, Anniekay and Oreti… appreciate your comments… :):):)

The end is near. Won’t be much longer til autumn begins , the leaves are already falling and changing color on some trees and shrubs. Soon the landscapes will be a cloak of reds, or oranges and yellows . One last show for many of us to admire before winter arrives shielding the garden plants with a long sleep to keep the night still.

@Anniekay asked what kind of plant is the spider on?

Bigger picces help with the ID?

Dahlia…of course, how dahlias do luv the warmer temps this time of year. This little spider below is peaking through the flower petals.
Say “Vogue little guy” ! Crab spider..

Tiny Crab spiders are common in Oregon. They are on just about every plant this time of year. They are predators ready to jump any flying visitor that comes their way. Especially on a large flower that can host many flying visitors in a single day.

Pac I hesitate for fear of repeating myself, but your photography is outstanding. The focus, clarity and depth of field is on the level of professional. IDK if you edit but the texture, lighting and contrast are all spot on. But I imagine you just have a natural eye for the camera. You should be proud of your work.:setf_016::sete_013:

First one you can see her wings moving. Annie, just grow a coleus plant and don't remove the seed sprouts. The bees are on them all day long.
