It was a great day for working yesterday, and today should be the same. Thursdays are grass cutting days at work, and then after work I go help a senior with her garden for 2 hours. I sleep well Thursday nights haha

Good Friday morning all. Currently 14°C and clear. TGIF!
Its going to be a kind of mixed up day today. I have to take my daughter to a first aid course today, so I'll be leaving work to pick her up and then going back to work. THen I'll be picking her up at 1:30 so its going to be a short day. Its Friday so I'm ok with an early day!
Lots to do this weekend around the house.

Today we clean the house and do the windows. Boring but necessary.

 

Good Saturday morning all. Currently 19°C and overcast. Theres a nice breeze and it was great sleeping weather last night with the window open.
Lots to do around the yard today. But its that time of year again when we are thinking about getting back to the rink! I need to get the Club registration page ready and open so that is todays priority. After that some grass trimming and garden work.

I was up late last night and so I'm a little tired this morning. We are heading over to see my daughter and the kids today, I haven't seen them for a few weeks so we are overdue.

Netty— you go play with the bairns and I will be slaveing-away in the kitchen making yet more tomato concentrate and freezing-in more snijbiet after blanching the leaves.

Good Monday morning all. Currently 15°C and clear.
I did something unexpected yesterday. While walking Thunder early I got a message from the breeder about a female puppy available. Thunder and the pup have the same mother. We did end up going to see her and brought her home! So this is now a 2 dog home!
DD will be home with them during the day, so she is going to have an interesting day today while I am at work.
Sometimes in life you just have to say what the heck and do it haha

On the subject of pets, last week was really up and down. Timi the cat went outside Sunday morning, and didn't come home all day, nor for the next four days. With her gone for five days we were trying (futilely) to resolve ourselves to the fact that she was gone for good. Then on Friday she showed up in the barn, followed husband to the house, tanked up on food and took a nap on a chair, just as if nothing had happened! We were so happy, so relieved, and thrilled!

Good Tuesday morning all. Currently 13°C and overcast. We had some rain overnight.
We still haven't named the puppy. We just can't seem to find anything that like that we all agree on. I'm sure we will find something soon.
Thunder is just now starting to play with puppy. We had to keep them separated by fence or crate for a while so Thunder could get used to her. He plays very rough and we were afraid that she was going to get hurt. They seem to have it figured out now. Never a dull moment around here now!
Off to work, to trim some hedges today.

@Netty my friend had a Pup she named Gomez and had a situation like yours with the breeder having a female pup that was half sister. She got her and named her Mortitia !! Tish for short.

Good Wednesday morning all. Currently just 10°C and clear. Sure feels chilly, and it was great sleeping weather last night!
Puppy is getting settled into our home life just great, and shes standing up to her big brother now. So cute to see her telling him off haha

Good Thursday morning all. Currently 16°C and overcast. We have rain in the forecast today!
We finally named our new puppy and her name is Indie. It was the only one of our choices that we all liked!
Shes so sweet, and shes learning quickly. We did learn that she does not share her brothers love of rides on the side by side. Thats fine, because there just wont be room for all of us when shes big!
Off to work, where I think a good part of the day will be spent indoors doing random things due to the rain.
