Great Anemone piccies, mine have finished, sadly. Yours look really good. Oreti—Nice looking Toms. Yum.
Thanks @Sjoerd greatly appreciated such a comment coming from someone with such knowledge and expertise at growing amazing Tomatoes.
BTW Oreti— what is going on with that leaf sort of at the top of that Tom truss? You know, just left of those reddening fruits.
You all are very experienced gardeners. So much fun to watch your season gardens growth and harvests, I appreciate all your sharing and lovely garden pics.
Not alot going on with that leaf @Sjoerd ....it's a gonna now. If you think that leaf looks bad... you should see ALL my precious Dahlias. I've been utterly distraught over them for a few weeks so took drastic action and cut alot down to ground level. Not the correct action I know but just didn't have the time or energy to start any long procedures. I might even just dig all 35+ up and burn them all. One I'm heartbreakingly gutted about. When I can get over my distress I will post and seek the opinions, knowledge and possible solutions from all you lovely knowledgeable forum buddies. Maybe more apt if I start a ' What's looking absolutely awful in your garden ' thread.
Oreti— does that Tom plant have more leaves with more questionable leaves or stems? I am alarmed to hear about your dahlias. As a gardener, I am interested to hear more. Don’t feel too . Lil hug…x
OMGoodness … I know just how ya feel Oreti it’s hard to lose our precious dahlias we nurture and care for over the years. I have lost so many of my fav flowers to ground squirrels I have no words. Welll-ll maybe a couple…not useful here. Sending gentle hugs across the pond.
No that is/ was the only dodgy one.. Thanks , too upset to even look at the pics let alone show them on here. I'm doing a bit of a test...one has sprout new leaves but from some unhealthy stems, have wiped them 'clean' and made sure the surrounding soil looks clean too. No idea what I'm doing really...just a case of 'nothing venture, nothing gained'........'trial and error '....or just good old 'pot luck'. What will be will be.
Thanks @Pacnorwest . I might not mind so much if I knew why every single one became so poorly looking with a few actually shrivelling up and dying. I'll post about them next week when the shock will have cooled abit. I'll be keen to hear the views of you all.
