Annie— haha, maybe. Ta. The translation in Dutch is “Little Tree Blue”. There are so many of these small blue butterflies over here. I had to look up which this one was. It is very small, but lovely.
Well, it is confusing…for instance, the name implies there is a larger blue butterfly that likes trees. I have never seen it though.
We sometimes have rainbow after it's been raining. A rainbow is a multicoloured arc in the sky formed when sunlight interacts with water droplets through a process of refraction and reflection. White sunlight, composed of all colours, is bent and dispersed into its component colours as it enters water droplets and reflects off their back surface, creating the familiar spectrum of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet. To see a rainbow, the Sun must be behind you, and the water droplets (such as rain or spray) must be in front of you.
Ta Annie We get rainbows every Thursday over here. No one died as far as I know but some misguded folk think that rainbows will power their electric cars and keep their houses warm in winter This came up in my new car park
A bit late to the party but they are finally arriving at last. . Cyclamen are springing up everywhere. Thankfully the Dahlias are looking better after the treatment and the occasional showers we've been recently enjoying......at long last!
Oreti—you must have been glad to have seen the appearance of those first two tardy bloomers. Those flowers of yours look gorgeous.
