Happy Birthday Daniel. And many more. How many whacks are you due for !!?? Mine was the 21st but nobody ever notices.
A belated thank you for all of the nice birthday wishes! I've been off line for a bit. Finishing the harvests. Winding down the garden, and a bit overwhelmed with cleanup! Continuing the declutter process indoors and out. Also thinking about next year's garden.
Daniel and Annie— Happy birthday you two. I hope that you guys had a great personal day. We are lucky to have you on here. Sorry to hear that your winterising has been a bit daunting, Daniel. I hope that you are working at a sensible pace, mate. A few pics would be good to see. The same goes for you too Annie.
Thanks Pac. I feel rather old right now. I suppose part of that is a medication I just finished, and part is I started a Tai Chi class for core body strength and fall risk reduction. It uses just about every part of the body. Which is probably why every part of the body hurts now, LOL.
Daniel Sorry to hear your in a fix after classes. And kudos to you for taking important steps toward mobility, balance and safety. I’m really surprised to hear that since you work like a dog around your garden and home practically every day. I think that gardening daily is a misnomer for staying in shape . Most think gardening actively daily keeps us in shape. But not necessarily pain free. I know every day after every garden adventure after a sit down , I can’t hardly get up. Sore is always a surprising daily experience for some odd unclear reason. I did swimming therapy for awhile which helped a lot which included a nice relaxing hot tub treatment , which made it even more difficult to get up outta water. Unusually these issues seem to be unexpected results. Yet it’s an every day event. But .. Usually by the next day or two recovery takes charge and I’m back in the saddle again as they say. This will get better and hopefully you’ll be stronger and mentally and physically better for it. Keep up the Good Fight.
