Good Monday morning all. Currently 14°C and clear. There is a beautiful full moon out and it is lighting up the yard nicely.
I'm dressed for work in shorts and a t-shirt today, which seems odd to me considering its October 6th. I am most definitely NOT complaining!
Fall cleanup begins at work today, and I hope my sore knee will allow me to do it!

Good Tuesday morning all. Currently 16°C and overcast. This is the warmest it will be today, and later the temperature will start to fall and then the rain starts. We need rain so badly.
Day 2 of fall cleanup at work. My sore knee was ok yesterday so hopefully it stays ok today.

Good Wednesday morning all. Currently 8°C and overcast.
We had a glorious day of rain yesterday, and today will be cloudy and cooler. Tonight is our first chance of frost.
I'll have to come home and pick all the remaining crops in my garden before heading off to the rink.

Good Thursday morning all. Currently just 1°C and clear at 4:30am. I'm sure the temperature will drop and we will get frost before the sun is up all the way.
Thursday is grass cutting day, and I'll be wearing an extra jacket to stay warm. Bought myself a new stylish fall work jacket from my Kubota dealer when I went for the oil and filter for my utility vehicle. After work, I'll be getting groceries and then hitting the laundromat. Such an exciting life I have!

Good Saturday morning all. Currently 11°C and raining.
We got a frost and so it looks like most of my veggie garden is done for the season. I still have some kale, chard, arugula, spinach and cabbage growing, but the rest is all done.
Today, we are at the rink from 8am until noon, then its home to start draining the pool into our well. Hoping this will allow me to get some laundry done as well. Tomorrow is our Thanksgiving dinner so we will also be making a soy, dairy and gluten free chocolate cake for the grandkids. That sounds kind of horrible I know, but it is one of the best chocolate cake recipes and is moist and delicious.

Thanks for missing me Sjoerd. Sometimes I'm the only one in this thread for a while so it feels lonely

Good Monday morning all, and Happy Canadian Thanksgiving! Currently 8°C and clear.
We had a wonderful family dinner here last night and I spent some quality time with the grandkids. Also ate WAY too much, and had an early night. This morning, I have far too much energy and already did a workout and I think I'll take a long walk with the dog. Lots of things to do around the yard as well so that should keep me out of trouble.

Netty— ahhhh. Great to hear from you. I read your accounts on here every day. I find the things you do interesting and am; like so many, amazed at your capacity for doing things.
Good to see that things are ticking right along there.
I’ll bet that you so enjoyed tour grandkids time.

Good Tuesday morning all. Currently 8°C and clear.
Nothing stinks more than the Tuesday after a long weekend! And it was a busy one!
I've had the pool draining into our well and that allowed me to catch up on all the laundry and washing of things. Almost all of the outdoor chores have been completed, with the exception of anything to do with water ... the draining of the pool and the rain barrels and the winterizing of the equipment. Those things will be finished off this week. Next it will be time to tear out the gardens. But first there is the matter of the 4 day work week ahead, and a few other things starting with taking the puppy to the vet for shots today.

Good Wednesday morning all. Currently 8°C and clear.
I decided to sell our plow truck and so I had some people come over to take it for a drive last night. Thought I had it sold and then the rad hose decided to break, cancelling the deal. I have a friend coming over tonight to fix it up for me and hopefully we can sell it before too long. I don't drive a stick and I have the Kubota with a plow now so I don't need the truck anymore. Kinda sad to see it go because hubby loved that truck, but it no longer has a use for me.
But first, its off to work to continue fall cleanup.

Netty— good luck selling your truck. Tja, that was bad luck about that radiator hose, wasn’t it. I do not see why that would have been a dealbreaker though.
I mean you could have closed the deal with the promise of repairing it before the buyer paid. Huh? Yeah, so what’s the problem with that buyer, it isn’t like your motor or transmission made weird noises or something.

I have the day off today, and I have someone coming to look at the truck this morning. I sure hope they buy it.
