    Aww those are so tiny… wow Zigs you got a good eye . What kind ? Do you know? I see them a lot around here to… this is mushroom season.. be safe , Especially when out hunting for delicate culinary delights.

    Zigs we have a lot of those tiny shrooms all over the pastures. In fact all sorts of colors sizes and shapes. It just means you have good soil, or a lot of rain or maybe they are growing everywhere in autumn because of cooler conditions or a good supply of organic matter when conditions are right.



    Spotted these today out trimming the pine trees.

    FYI. Did you know squirrels eat mushrooms and other fungi as a regular part of their diet they can eat poisonous varieties that are toxic to humans they also store them by hanging them in trees to dry for a]later snacks.

    Olds, voles and ground squirrels exhaust in underground tunnels , set up house keeping as well as a section for body waste. These areas are usually set up around tree roots . Mushrooms mark the wast areas above ground always around roots of trees growing above ground in cemiteical

    I'd heard about Squirrels drying them, cool :)

    I think I did a video about folk disappearing in Fairy rings a few years ago, I'll go and find it :)

    Both pan fry with garlic butter add a bit of hot sauce , top over favorite dish.
