My emergency call to British Gas for our boiler repair last Monday, was just before the contract I'd signed up for the care package and annual service began, so I've got charged £160. But a phone call to B G got me a £100 refund. So I'm quite pleased about that.

Yes email scams are easy to detect but phone call ones aren't as easy. Hubby knew that the second one that he had was a scam and he told them that and stopped the call.

I expect when you've finished the grouting, you've still to put a silicone seal between the bath and the tiles.

I'd always found the grout in our shower attracted mould, particularly near the bottom. Even spraying the suspect area with a recommended mould prevention spray daily after every use.

But I found this Grout Cure.

It was a pain to apply as you need to mask up the edges of the tiles with tape.
I only did the area inside the shower enclosure, but it's stayed white and we've not had any recurrence of mould in the two years since I applied it.

Welp, I have an eye infection, dang it , and it's made the whole side of my face swell up frpm above the eye, around the temple and down my cheek. So, when I saw it like that in the mirror, early this morning, I tried to get an appointment with an eye Doctor. No luck until monday because they' all closed for New Years weekend. So, I went to the ER here in town and got prescribed oral antibiotics and antibacterial eye drops.

It doesn't hurt, it's just all puffy.
