Yes, one day it's 80 and the next it's in the 50's. No wonder the broccoli is confused. It doesn't know whether to grow or faint away in the heat. :D

@Pacnorwest you must garlic press @Zigs about growing garlic. His stories have stories. I recall he might have grown garlic commercially but it left a funny taste in his mouth. Was it 50,000 plants?

Not quite that many Mr Mechanic but I did supply the local shops and pubs :)

I started off with 3 bulbs, got them up to about 5,000 and then got wiped out with onion white rot

These are coming on well this year, planted in November from Solent Wight stock.

Oh! So many zero's and such little time. I must have felt inflation!

We went to Folkestone garden centre today :)

We were going to buy some fruit trees but they didn't have the varieties we wanted and the ones they had were £60 each

Just got some seeds, onions and a very nice Opuntia :)

A famous person once said, “ You can’t always get what ya want, but maybe sometimes you can get what you need.

It looks like a good collection there.

    Ta Sjoerd :)

    He came from Kent :)

Mick Jagger met Keith Richards on Dartford railway station. He noticed the Blues records he was carrying and started talking to him. They recognised each other from School and later went on to form The Rolling Stones :)
