Our Georgia Groundhog "Cournel Beauregard Lee" agrees. He is at 85% accuracy and he went back inside too.

Ah who listens to that silly ground critter. Punxsutawney #%#* anyway. And how do they know that he did absolutely positively see his shadow. They say when he emerged from his burrow last week in Pennsylvania , he saw his shadow which means 6 more weeks of winter. Bah - Hun- Bug.

Here’s my guy sitting on top of his house in my garden who looked me straight in the eye and said..
“No more winter , Gardeners start your engines !”

So you, out in the warm West this winter have your Sqidmore Squirrel for predictions and we, in the East, have our Groundhogs. Do not diss The Cournel !!

. This year the East, including me down South are having a very cold winter and snow, and the Polar Vortex. You have no such affectations.

    So there.

Good Friday morning all. Currenly -8°C and overcast. We have snow in the forecast today, with some squalls later. Yuck.
Its been a busy few days around here! Yesterday I did my errands and shopping and then came home and helped my son split firewood. I've also been trying to catch up on my bookwork for the skating club, and did some toy shopping for 2 grandkids birthdays. The weather has been nice too, so I've been trying to get in some outside time. Spring will be here before we know it, just got to get through a few more snow storms
Have a great day all :)

Good Saturday morning all. Currently -24°C and feeling like -38°C with the wind chill. Brrrrrr!
We had a little snow storm last night, but mostly strong winds and cold temperatures. The wind was shaking the house and the furnace was running a lot.
Off to the rink shortly, and then to a birthday party for 2 of my grandkids. DD will be sleeping over so I'll be home with both dogs tonight. Should be an interesting night as the puppy usually sleeps with my daughter and is very bonded to her. I have a funny feeling that I wont be getting too much sleep tonight.
Have a great day all :)
