I was thinking, that we should have a thread where our fantasy pictures too can be shared. And these days there's a lot of buzz about AI generated images, (text to image, where you write what you want, and AI will create a picture with whatever you described) - Which I too tried, and was amazed beyond my expectations! So whatever it may be, something AI generated, or anything you drew by your hand. Or digital art you made yourself in the computer - As long as it's horticulture or nature related, let's share here! Only rule is that you mention how or from where you created it. So let your imagination run wild! If you ever saw something in childhood, but didn't have a camera at the time to take a picture of it. Or had a most vivid dream, the images from which you desire to share, or a fantasy that still remains unfulfilled - Well, with today's technology you can get pretty close to re-creating it with AI. I used this AI below: https://stablediffusion3.net/app To create pictures of a greenhouse and habitation for colonists on Mars. As well as a laboratory where plant tissue culture would be taking place, (to establish sustainable agriculture).
Those remind me of the movie and book "The Martian". I enjoyed that story a lot, both versions. His main or only crop was potatoes, which were brought as a holiday treat but had viable buds.
Wow some fantastically beautiful worlds created . I could live in all of them. What a beautiful imagination .
Thanks! You can create your own too. Just follow the links above in this thread. And simply write what you want the AI to generate for you - Literally anything that you can imagine. I just created these beautiful lightning storm pictures over the ocean from Stable Defusion.
Wow so amazingly gorgeous and so real. Good AI pics . You have a wonderful creative imagination and expression. I wouldn’t know how to express what’s going on in my brain. Mmm, to create a pic… not sure that all the electrical connections are in tact. Could be too mind boggling…to focus on one thing long enough … jumping from one thing to another … even AI would be confused.
Well AI doesn't bite. So anyone can use it - And once you start, it can become pretty addictive too, (in a really fun way). Okay, let me now introduce to you (and everyone else reading this) how easily it's all done. WhatsApp (one of the most common smartphone massaging app) is now empowered by AI too. So now you can have a text conversation with Meta AI - Exactly like how you might be talking to someone else. You can ask questions, seek advice, even tell it to make pictures for you. Say you just woke up from a most vivid dream. And you now want to show it to others what you experienced - But can't as we're no good as drawing out images from out head... So what to do? Well, ask Meta AI to make an image for you. By describing it in words, (the more details the better). Alright, here I am now asking Meta AI in WhatsApp to make an image for me. See the screenshot below. So I just asked it, in text, to make a certain type of picture. And Below is what it made for me. It really is as simple as that! Many AIs today have this function. Grok AI of X (formerly known as Twitter) now makes short video clips in exactly the same way. It's really not difficult at all.
Recall back to the painful 1980s, as well as the frustrating 1990s, when everybody started to get their own PCs at home. Remember all this annoying times when we wished that there was a easier way for computers to understand what we wanted them to do - Why couldn't everything be like how we saw in Star Trek, where they would just speak to the computer and everything would get done to their full satisfaction almost immediately. Well, that time has now arrived. So let's go back in time, and find our own selves again from that stage - Now try interacting with Artificial Intelligence, (bypassing whatever we had to learn and endurance in the past 3 to 4 decades). Try it, and post your creations here for all to see - It's going to be lovely!
For those who don't want to download & instal any apps in their smartphones, as well as those who are right now using their PCs (obviously for the big screen advantages) - I give you the free Stable Diffusion Version 3 on the web! https://stablediffusion3.net/app This above is all you need to do basically - Which is to write whatever you desire in the prompt box, (pointed out in the red arrow). There's also the negative prompt box too, (pointed out in the yellow arrow), in which you can write whatever you don't want the AI to do. But for most things you can just leave it empty. Next I come below and pick these options, (which is the maximum available to free users), like made at least 2 pictures each time, as free users only get 10 tries a day, also pick the aspect ratio of the picture - After which just press Generate! So I wrote: Sparkling sea with big waves, partly cloudy sky with fluffy clouds, through which dusk sunlight of the setting sun is beaming, at the beach, with a bonfire, color of the sky is gradually changing from red at the horizon, to orange, to purple at the top. So these are the 2 pictures which AI just created for me, from the text I wrote in the prompt box. I now have 9 more tries to do this today as a free user. So I pick the one I like best, download it, and post over here for you all to enjoy. I now change what I wrote in the prompt box, making it a tropical rainforest jungle with a flowing river - And this is what I now got. Changing the prompt more, I n9w get a mega metropolis by the coast, with tall skyscrapers at dusk - Looks like Hong Kong, but obviously, anyone who's been there will know that it's not HK, (7 more tries left for today)... Okay, now there's no mystery in this anyone. So let your imaginations run wild and give it a try - I really want to see what's inside all your minds. This is going to become a lot of fun! By the way, these AIs have some built-in failsafes to keep people from generating anything indecent. So don't try anything funny, or you'll get banned from using that particular AI. Note to moderators and owner of this forum: AI generated pictures shouldn't be allowed to enter picture of the month contest. Because that's going to be most unfair.
This is a mythical being Imagecreator did for one of my books. Black and white as colour printing makes the books very expensive
