Made my second effort of tamales. This time the filling was sautéed mushrooms, onions, chilis, with some cumin, and I mixed in some added chopped chipotles in adobo sauce. These were quite tasty. I think I still need to work on the cornmeal masa, which wasn't as light as I hoped. Still, quite a treat.
Tagliatelle with a cream sauce using onions, Swiss chard, diced meat and champignons. I am looking forward to this.
Oh, sorry— my Bride switched pasta at the last minute— she used penne. Still tasty though. “Egg noodles” huh? Oké. Thanks. I lurve them as well. Even if they only hsve butter on them.
Our weather has justly earned us....comfort food today. Pasta Bolognese with a mixed salad. It definately 'hit the spot'
Braadworst (skinned and sectioned), pasta, toms, onions, bell peppers hot peppers and runner beans…those five veggie ingredients are from our own garden. Grated cheese sprinkled all over the top and herbs stirred through.. This dish does not yet have a name…suggestions? Oreti— ah—oo! That looks delicious. What sort of pasta is that? The pieces are so short.
Sjoerd is it dinner time already? I’m just having my third cup o’ coffee. maybe-Name for your dish… Chefs special… ‘Sjoerd’s Garden Veggie Noodle Extravaganza’ with fresh Dutch veggies straight from the chefs personal garden.
Just ordinary spaghetti snapped into short lengths @Sjoerd . I wasn't in the mood for twirling it round on a fork or slurping it up.
