    First sign of any activity.
The feeder has been out for a week with pellets and water.
This was the first visitor, last night.
    All the food was eaten.

Strangely, no hedgehogs have visited the feeder in the last two nights. In fact the cameras didn't pick up any images of them on Thursday night. Maybe they stayed closer to home, (wherever that is). But there was a lot of coming and going through the doorway last night, between 11.00pm and 6.00am this morning.

This was interesting, I had to take a screen-shot off a video as this was the clearest bit shown.
There's a hedgehog in the bottom left-hand corner of the frame with what looks like a bit of dry grass or whatever, in its mouth. It's heading towards the hedgehog house in the back corner of the garden behind the camera which I put out with a lot of hay inside, a week ago and not towards the doorway.

I might turn the camera around today and see if it picks up any activity.

Do you think it's a female and she's planning on building a nest in one of your hedgehog houses?

Not so sure about that. But a few years ago when there was and as there is now, a house under the azaleas next to the main patio, the camera caught one taking stuff into it, although I'd already put plenty of hay in it. It might just be something instinctive that they do.

I've moved the camera, so it will now pick up anything coming through the doorway or going into the house.
