Vitrsna I think the duck is a Wood duck but I'm not 100% sure. It was its lovely plumage that made me want to take a photograph of it.

We have lots of frogs and newts in our pond. I'm just hoping the newts don't dine on all the tadpoles but leave enough to breed in future years.
