I finally got a picture of a butterfly but its wings were fluttering so it's a bit blurry. It's a monarch that's been hanging around the flowers a couple of days. I tried to get a better picture but he kept moving up and down the row. He knew I wanted his picture.

I wish it had been on this one. You could have seen it a little better.

I agree with Sjoerd a little of your sun would be just grand over here. All our butterflies are gone for this year along with most of our flowers so it's lovely to see yours. :stew2:

Beautiful and I'm with Sjoerd and Eileen... the sun looks sooo inviting. It's been dreary here. Brighter today but nothing like your sun.

Sometimes those butterflys are just so active....I had some that I never even got a picture of last summer. I had even planted zinnias because I read they liked them and wanted everything I could in the yard to attract them. I am glad you finally got to see them and snap a picture.Send the sun to Wisconsin please...

I've been trying to get a good photo of the Monarch that's been hanging around too... but they are just too quick for me!
And the weather here has just been tooooooo beautiful, hasn't it?
