We have a new baby. [IMG] No, not one of those, a new plant on the patio.
Our daughter in law has a lovely garden and promised us a banana plant when she had propagated one from a sucker on one of her other plants. She brought it round today and it adds a little more structure along the sunny fence side of the patio.

That baby looks healthy. It looks well-placed as well.

Very cute. We had three of them bloom last spring 2016 and are still eating them right out of the greenhouse.. We should have them till at least January. It has been fun being up North.

Cool....I think I will have to look for one and try it inside because of our cold winters. My husbands workshop is heated in the garage but it has a door to get outside for the dogs so I am not sure if it would be warm enough in the winter....we are farther away from stores when we move so this would work out great...

Nice-looking nooners, Ware. I am so jealous that you can grow them in your yard. hahaha. That must be so nice.

Sjoerd, They bloomed in my yard and we took them into the greenhouse for that winter for them to finish develop. They are doing just 13 months later for us to pick off and eat. They wouldn't have lived if we left them winter outside here..
