I've never had applesauce doughnuts but I know I would love them !! Normally I like a plain or "cake" donut like they call them in The South here. Just plain with not a thing in it, or on it. I like to dunk my donut into my coffee. Filling of any kind would just make a mess of my morning Cuppa !!
