A member of the daisy family, Black Eyed Susans go by other names, such as Gloriosa daisy or brown eyed Susan.

hummerbum, Were your previous Black Eyed Susans in a container or were they directly in the ground?

I don't know yet. They will probably go in with the thorny roses and that's a pretty heavy container. They didn't take that because someone would have heard them while being attacked by those long stems of thorns!!! LOL

    LMBO Carolyn!!!!

Yeah, its more trouble than its worth to fill "them" with lead. get a salt shooter with a bang cap... it that possible? something that wont do much damage but scares the bejesus out of them or havinge a "coming to Jesus" moment in the back of their minds.
