Clearwing Hummingbird Moth

    Clearwing Hummingbird Moth....I noticed him in the garden this morning...it is only the 2 one I have seen this summer. Notice in the last picture that he is just sitting on the flower resting, it lasted about 20 minutes and then he was off getting nectar again...

    I just love the middle picture. I have allot of them here in our gardens but can almost never get a good picture. They become a blurrrr....they never sit for me like that...

    Well caught Sherry. I can even see his proboscis clearly. I hope he'll visit you again soon and maybe bring some others with him.
