Cornflower?

    It was grown wild as a weed in cornfields amongst grains.

    Petronius is this plant also used for cooking with?...as Cornflour as we both know is used in cooking :)

    @Gail-Steman, I do not know if Cornflower is a cooking ingredient.

    Yes it's flower and it's used as a thickener in gravy and regarding cooking sponge cakes it helps them rise :)

    Way different plants as purpleinopp stated, differentiated by the spelling of flower and flour.
    Cornflower is edible but it is not the one that is ground up to use as a bread ingredient or a thickener.
